This is is a cute little lake situated at Mayem near Bicholim, in
Bicholim taluka, North Goa. It is about 35kms from Panaji. It is very popular
with Indian tourists and there are boating facilities available on the lake. The
GTDC has cottages in the area.
Approach
There are a number of buses that run from Mapusa and
Panaji to Bicholim and from there to Mayem
Lake. The
nearest interstate bus station is at Mapusa, the KTC bus station.
Accommodations
The main accommodation in the area is the Tourist lake Cottages on the
Lake itself, run by the GTDC.
